Title: Caught By Roomate
I've been a 24/7 wearer for several years, so when I decided to move into a new apartment with a close friend a few months ago, I knew it was only a matter of time before I would be discovered and have to explain my panty fetish. Maybe that was something I really needed deep down, because I never really stressed about it too much. I just accepted that one day it would happen.
Well, I always took some precautions to make sure my lingerie was fairly well hidden, but one day I was doing laundry and I left a lingerie bag in the washer with some other clothes. My roommate needed to wash something so he started putting my clothes in the dryer for me. I knew it was coming. Sure enough he picks up the hosiery bag filled with mostly white and light pink panties. He asked, "Uh, what are all these panties?" Now, we've both discussed how much we love panties (on women) and that we have both kept them as souvenirs from girlfriends, and even tried them on. Seriously, I think pretty much every guy has tried on his girl's panties before, and I have no problem admitting that to anyone bold enough to ask. I've also confided to him that an ex-gf and I used to wear matching panties out all the time because it made for a fun little secret between us. So when he asked about the panties in the wash, I just told him, "They're my panties; put them in the dryer." So, he put them in the dryer, but asked "Do you just collect those, or do you wear them? I mean why are they in the wash?" Completely red and smiling, I said "I wear them." His response was, "Whatever blows your skirt up. I'll never tell anyone about it." And that was pretty much the end of it at that moment. It felt great to have it in the open finally and that it was really no big deal at all. Funny thing was, I had a date that afternoon and was headed out the door, and was a little worried that we'd return from the date to my apartment to find all my laundry piled on my bed with a hosiery bag full of pink panties right on top. Being a nice guy, he buried them under everything else when he took my clothes out of the dryer. Major roommate bonus points on that one.
Over the next few days, the topic would continue to come up occasionally and he would ask maybe something like "How did you get those panties, do you just buy them?" and I would explain this aspect or that. I told him that I shop for myself at places like Victoria's Secret. You could tell he was still trying to figure out the why of it more than anything. I said that I could not explain why because I did not know myself other than some deep desire to connect with my feminine side. All my friends know I am very metrosexual in that sense and even though I am basically 100asculine, I am very in touch with my femininity and not afraid to show it. I consider the panty-wearing to be something along those lines, but with the added aspect of being sexually charged as well.
Now, it has kinda become an inside joke. He'll always emphasize "panties" or "women's panties" when talking about my underwear. I'll leave panties lying around more, or he'll pull them out of the washer or dryer and comment on them. And he'll sometimes try to make me nervous by hinting at something when we have other people around. It's funny sometimes, but rarely does it make me nervous of others finding out. I'm comfortable enough with my fetish that I wouldn't lose any sleep if any of my closest friends knew. Honestly, I'll bet a lot more of them know than I even realize. Wouldn't want a bunch of coworkers knowing, but I also would not run away in shame if they did.
All in all, I am very comfortable with my panty-wearing and sexuality. Now I don't have to worry about hiding my secret at home any more. I'm still not to the point of walking around the apartment in panties, but I'm sure that day will come. I can see this progressing to the point that eventually all of my friends will know, it will be a non-issue, and just one of those interesting quirks that makes us all individual.
