Title: Pantyhose Gets Me Two Raises
After applying for a job at a men's and women's clothing store, I was called for an interview. The manager, who is a woman, told me there was no opening in any of the men's departments. I said I really need a job and I would even consider something in the women's departments .
She said there will be an opening in pantyhose in about three weeks. Do you have any knowledge of pantyhose? I said no but I'm willing to learn. She said I want you to go through the entire pantyhose department and get you a pair for every style. Take them home and wear them, learn about them and how they feel. If you'll do it, I'll know you're serious. Come back in two weeks.
When I got home with all of my pantyhose, I tried my first pair. I never could have imagined how fantastic they feel. I began to wear them every day, even in hot weather with my shorts.
A week later, I was walking through the store and was greeted by the manager. She said how are you coming with your pantyhose? I had on long pants with sandals and pantyhose. She said come back in two weeks and you can start. In two weeks I came back and got the job. I was told there would one stipulation. I had never had a job that I could wear shorts.
My first day I put on my pantyhose and shorts and headed off to work. I would be in charge of the entire pantyhose section, ordering them and assisting customers. I was given a name tag that had my name and Pantyhose.
As customers started browsing the pantyhose, I approached my first customer and asked can I help you with pantyhose. She said I was interested in these Donna Karan Pantyhose. I've been wearing Hanes but wanted to try the Donna Karans. I said that's an excellent choice. I'm wearing Donna Karan Pantyhose now. She said what color is that. That's a good color. I said it's called buff. They are a very luxurious and soft fabric in the legs, and the panty is soft, high quality. She said I'll take this one and I may want to get another pair after a try these.
She put the Donna Karans on and looked stunning in her short dress and pantyhose. I said they look amazing. She got two more pairs of the Donna Karans and thanked me for my help. I had my first satisfied pantyhose customer.
